Callies Block Lightening Service

Shed unwanted pounds from the front of your car. Callies block lightening process will remove up to 30 pounds from a standard Dart SBC engine block. Lightened blocks can be machined to your specifications. Standard and advanced options are available to produce your desired outcome.

Basic Lightening
Callies basic block lightening program includes both sides of the block, as well as the lifter valley area. This program leaves all necessary accessories and accessory mounting bosses, with a weight reduction of approximately 17 pounds.

Standard Lightening Options
Callies offers additional lightening options, which include removal of motor mount bosses, fuel pump mount, and oil filter mount. These options can be chosen individually to suit your needs. When done as a complete package with the basic lightening program, combined total weight reduction is about 28 pounds.

Advanced Options
Callies advanced options offer you finished machining of critical block dimensions. With these options, it's possible to purchase a ready to use block, requiring only final wash before assembly.
